Add appointment booking to WIX

8 You don’t need to use the default and expensive booking apps that Wix (homepage provider) offers in their app store. You can simply install the SimplyBook.me widget by going in to the Apps market and choose to activate the iFrame widget.
Choose the Apps Market in WIX
Then go select and install the iFrame app:

When the iFrame app is installed you choose mode HTML mode, and below you insert the widget code you get from the design section in SimplyBook.me that corresponds to your design choice. There is now one small trick that needs to be done !!
Use the widget code that you receive from us from the admin interface: Design – Widgets.
The code looks like this but you can play with the width component that is here set to 960 px:

You now have a working appointment software on your WIX site.

hey! Nice to see you adjusting the iframe code to accomodate Wix and for fixing the issue for me. I have recommended SimplyBook.me to Wix as you are better than their booking apps in my experience.

I cannot get this to work. No matter how long I make the box, still only part of the widget displays. Do you know what I can do to fix this?

Hi Amy, Did you remember to change name of loader.php to pm_loader.php ? Normally that change should fix this and then length of box adjusts automatically.

It sounds like Amy’s saying (and I’m seeing this as well) that not all days of the week are visible. I’m noticing a problem with the width, not the length of the widget. It seems that the width must be 640 at minimum to see the 7 days in either flexible_week or modern_week. With modern the width can be as small as 310. For flexible, it seems the minimum width for the widget must be 390 in order to see the calendar and available times. Any thoughts on how to tweak this?

It may be necessary to use a one day widget and not the week widget in this case. Did you try that ?

Hi I am thinking of using simplybookme for my photography site Can you tell me what constitues a reservation? For instance if someone makes a reservation and then changes it would that be counted as two reservations? Thanks in advance for your help

Each booking counts, and cancelled bookings count as well. Changed bookings only count as one booking.
