Import your client list from other systems
It is now easy to import your client list. This is something we had not done before as we had very few requests but over the last few days the demand for this function went through the roof.
Simply go to Manage // Clients and you will see a list of existing clients if there already are some clients registered. In the upper right corner you will find “Import from CSV” button. Press that button, you will then see a button to browse your files on your PC, find your client list, and choose to import it. You will be asked to define what columns contain which data, and then you can simply confirm and import all your clients.
If the client name is in 2 columns, please use following method:
The following formula combines data from cells A1, B1 and adds spaces between each set of data. Write this formula into another column, such as column
- Click on the Formulas tab. (in excel)
- Choose Text Functions from the ribbon to open the drop down list.
- Click on CONCATENATE in the list to bring up the function’s dialog box.
SOMECOLUMN =CONCATENATE(A2,” “,B2) the SOMECOLUMN can be any column name that is still not used in your excel sheet.
A column should be First name, and B column should be Lastname, if it is opposite, please use:
SOMECOLUMN =CONCATENATE(B2,” “,A2) the SOMECOLUMN can be any column name that is still not used in your excel sheet.
And then you drag this SOMECOLUMN down to do the same to all the rows.
Now is a good time to remove leading zero-es in mobile phone numbers if there are any as they are usually problematic for sending sms. This can be done manually or by using the same method as when the names are concatenated together.
Chose to Save this As, CSV file and use semicolumn as delimiter.
Go to SimplyBook.me system, Manage // Clients, Select to Import clients, load your list, select what column applies where with drop downs, continue and you will see first 10 clients that will be imported and into what fields in SimplyBook.me
That’s all !

Appreciating the persistence you put into your site and detailed information you provide. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed material. Excellent read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
