are you HIPPA compliant for medical / dental patients ?
admin
Hi Ann, Patient data protection relies mostly on procedures around the systems on place, who has access to data, what data is kept, do you log out of system to stop others from being able to snoop around etc. Breach wise our system is as reliable as other well protected Internet system. Only we have access to our servers, and we do not share our servers with others. There is however always a slight possibility, no matter how good the system is, that if connected to Internet, there is a break-in possibility (even Pentagon has suffered from internet attacks). All users on the Internet must simply always keep this in mind and work accordingly, no matter the certification or guarantees made from providers. As to your question about HIPAA compliance, we have not investigated it enough to be able to say we are.

Here is another one. When appointment is booked, allow client to Print the on-screen confirmation. This can be a Print button that would open up a nicely formatted page with Provider logo, Service information, Appointment details and Confirmation Code. Many people use it. They may never receive an email confirmation, either because they mistypes their email or because their ISP junks your domain name for example.

Yes, this is a good one!

One more. Add optional “Reply To” configuration item to email confirmations. The default one is “NO-REPLY@simplybook.me”. But in some cases, I would like clients to be able to reply if they have additional questions or requests about the appointment. The easier it is for the client to use the technology, the less likely they will pick up the phone and call with their questions. This is exactly we are automating booking process. We are busy working, no time to answer the phone 🙂

True, will look in to this.

Did some checking and seems IF your clients reply to this address, it actually goes to your company email address although this one is displayed. Possibly the visible address could be renamed for example bookings@simplybook.me.

How about iPhone app for admins? I manage my own calebdar mostly and when on the phone the web page is a little difficult to navigate.
admin
The Google cal app is perfect for this if you sync the SimplyBook calendar !

A client files plug-in will be perfect for my beauty business. This will make accessing their files a breeze, instead of opening up another program!

What would you like to see in such plugin ? You know that if you insert comments to your client bookings, they will serve as history on your clients and you can look this up already in our software 🙂
Yoshi
“Client notes” field in clients. We can insert comments each time (this is great as a message to help operation each day) but for customer notes, it would be nice to keep customer’s information such as likes and dislikes about them in 1 place to remember the customer. (in the same place where name, tel number and emails are) and it would be perfect if we can access client notes from booking detail.

You are right, this is very valid suggestion.

We would love to see more more attributes added to clients. Perhaps an “additional fields for clients” plugin or simply a “client notes” field would be very useful.

It would be nice to have have API connection to getresponse.com. If new client pay for meeting I would like to send his/her email address to this email marketing system… Thanks Peter
Tony
Have you looked at Zapier? We are currently sending any new booking emails to Mailchimp double op-in sign up
admin
We do have Zapier connection. You need to activate the API plugin to use SimplyBook.me Zaps.

As of now this is only as percentage discount …

I would like to have the possibility to create recurring bookings for one service that are not tied to one same day and hour. Say, if a client buys a 5-lesson pack of language lessons from me, they should be able to book only 5 classes but in the days she/he prefers (now it is only possible to set a specific day of week or recurring fixed period). Would this be possible? Thanks!

This is very valid idea and has been added to our idea bank 🙂
