Use the History plugin to delete old data about bookings

We have had quite a few requests through the years to create a delete history feature for our system. This has now been implemented as a new plugin in our software. You can decide how long you keep bookings (and related clients) in the system, and when that time passes, this information is automatically deleted. Now you might think, why this is important. In fact this means that your data is at less risk from intruders. The most common break-in into systems is not necessarily through servers but rather through getting hold of your password and login information. If you only keep minimal history in the system, the intruder can not get any old data about your client’s meetings with you and would be limited to upcoming appointments. Of course we also have some users that don’t want tax authorities sniffing in to old data but that is of course not why this plug-in is created for but why you use it is none of our business.
